Open Door Romania works to restore the lives of survivors of human trafficking and to strengthen communities across Romania. We are guided by the conviction that every person is created in the image of God and possesses inherent dignity,
worth, and potential.
Since 2012, the Open Door Foundation has worked with survivors of human trafficking in Romania by providing an emergency shelter in Bucharest. Residents of the shelter are provided with holistic services that are contextualized to help them recover and heal from being trafficked.
OUR MISSION
The mission of our foundation is to offer assistance and protected shelter in emergency and crisis situations to victims of human trafficking,and to share God`s love and care with them.
AFTER CARE
We are providing support and services to help the women gain autonomy and reintegrate into society. We provide assisted resicence in protected sheltes for a periode of 18 months.
