 Conecting and spending free time program is offered to elderly ladies who have permanent address in Bucharest. This is pursued through different kind of activities in ”The Ladies Club”. The goal is to affer elderly women the possibility of spending quality time with their peers in a pleasant & relaxing environment. It is also designed with the purpose of helping them feel important, listen to & appreciated. We also offer them our full atention, respect, emotional support and trust. Activities included in the program: - Connecting: group sharing's meeting (introducing) new people, - Discussing: dialogue on different topics, - Individual activity: reading, crossword puzzles, etc, - Group discussions on media events & general interest topics, - Group activities: rummey, chess, domino, theater plays (drama), concerts, celebrating birthdays together, - Guest speakers – who bring interesting, up to data messages, with a note of encuragement, hope & appreciation. Annual events: - Birthdays, - March 1 st – Spring Celebration, - March 8 – Women/s Day, - Easter, - Christmas. This program is designed for elderly women, regardless their financial or social status & level of education. Goals of this program: - To prevent social isolation of these women, - To offer an emotional, relational & social support, - To build self esteem, - To restore personal value and autonomy, - Goog group integration. |
