The Open Door Foundation opened the Social and Educational Day Center “A door open to children”.
There are still vacancies for willing to participate in the attractive social and educational programs  which take place weekly, Monday to Friday, between 9-17.
In the Day Center’s programs can be included children who:
-    are grades I-VI at a state elementary school and have low grades (with a high risk of abandoning school) and need tutoring;
-    are coming from a needy family, dysfunctional family or with only one parent or families who care for one or more people with disabilities;
-    are in the care of grandparents or other relatives.
Are welcome all children, regardless of their nationality, with the only condition to speak Romanian.
Through the programs of the Day Center, the children will have free access and benefit from:
-    specialized assistance in tutoring/teaching (under the teacher’s supervision);
-    psychological counseling for the child and family;
-    activities for social time, spending free time, games and summer camps;
-    crafts (drawing, making cards, beads necklaces, etc);
-    english and computer classes;
-    hot meal a day;
